Back to school fun with the students at Cambagocboc Elementary School

June 11, 2018 – A morning full of blessings, fun and, laughter took place at the Cambagocboc Elementary School. This was all thanks to the back-to-school program sponsored by Gothong Southern Foundation Inc [GSF].

The foundation hosted a School Kit Provision Program for the Kindergarten pupils of the mountain barangay school, followed by a kiddie party for all of the students present.

The event was made even more special with the presence of the president of the foundation. Miss Caroline Joy Gothong-Ong along with her family. Mr. Celso Mayol, GSF Executive Director, was also present and gave an inspiring message to everyone present in the program, especially among the students and teachers.

Consequently, the young daughters of the GSF President were eager to lead the distribution of the school kits. Although the pupils were a bit shy to receive their customized bags containing school supplies they’d use the entire year, the joy and gratitude on their faces were very transparent.

After the school kit distribution, fun and laughter echoed the mountain barangay as the kiddie party began. There were a lot of games and dance numbers that had everyone laughing till their stomachs hurt.

This was one for the books to Gothong Southern Foundation as they continue their mission to improve the lives of the schools and the communities they’ve touched.
